Frank is one of my 3rd period students who does literally NOTHING in class. Actually--that's a lie, he sits there and tags whatever is in front of him, or naps. I'm a bad teacher, I figure, there's only so much you can do to save a child...anyway. So today our conversation went a little something like this.
Frank: (in tones of excitement) Miss Wright! I can impersonate any personality!
Me: Oh really! Okay, I want you to impersonate studious and academic!
--silent pause--
Christian: (he sits behind Frank) (slightly laughing) OOOOhh...she just got you!
Frank: yeah...um...any personality but that one!
Followed by hysterical laughing from me...the responsible adult teacher! I'm so funny!
